Welcome to Brown Mountain Beach Resort, the gateway to Pisgah National Forest and Wilson’s Creek Gorge.  This is the place to come back home to after a day of hiking in the rugged wilderness, kayaking class III-V rapids, fly-fishing for trophy mountain trout, 4-wheeling over 38 miles of ATV trails, or swimming in one of several old-time deep, cold swimming’ holes.

 

For the  younger, older, or just  less adventuresome among you,  we also have a shallow water area and sandy beach available, where you can go tubing, swimming, or lie out in the sun  - on the beach or on a steaming flat rock. But, make no mistake about it. You’re not coming to a 5-star hotel and Lazy River. You’re right smack in the middle of nature here.
